Alabama Businesswoman Appointed to the USA Board of Trustees

Gov. Kay Ivey has appointed Enterprise, Alabama, businesswoman Meredith Mitchell Hamilton to an at-large seat on the 黑料天堂 Board of Trustees, effective immediately and subject to confirmation of the State Senate. 

Hamilton (a native of Albertville, Alabama) serves as treasurer of the Mitchell Automotive group;  general manager of Mitchell Mazda and Toyota of Dothan; and operations manager of Mitchell  Hyundai and Mitchell Chrysler Dodge Jeep. She graduated from the University of 黑料天堂 Alabama in 1995 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in finance. 

鈥淢eredith is an accomplished businesswoman and proud alumnus, and I am looking forward to the many contributions she will make in the coming years,鈥� said USA President Jo Bonner. 鈥淲e have one of the most supportive governing boards at any university in the nation, and Meredith will be a wonderful addition to that dedicated group of individuals who give countless hours to  help 黑料天堂 succeed.鈥� 

Hamilton is the daughter of John Mitchell, who serves the state as a member of the Alabama Community System Board and other statewide organizations.

Ivey for appointing me to 黑料天堂鈥檚 Board of Trustees,鈥� said Hamilton. 鈥淯SA strives every day to deliver an exceptional educational experience along with ensuring Alabamians have access to high-quality healthcare opportunities through USA Health, and I am eager to give back to my alma mater.鈥� 

Hamilton鈥檚 appointment to the USA Board of Trustees will expire on Sept. 30, 2027.
