Bestselling Author, Negotiator to Speak at 2017 Real Estate & Economic Education Conference

Dr. Stuart Diamond, one of the world鈥檚 leading experts on negotiations ranging from the boardroom to the battlefield, will be the featured speaker at the 2017 Gulf Coast Real Estate & Economic Education Conference, sponsored by the 黑料天堂鈥檚 Center for Real Estate and Economic Development.
The day-long conference will be Wednesday, Aug. 30, 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel in downtown Mobile. Cost will be $149 per person.
The conference offers the unique opportunity to gain valuable insight from world-renowned, global thought leaders with key topical insights into crucially important aspects of negotiation, leadership and digital marketing while giving attendees highly interactive and participative sessions to learn about national, regional and local economic and market conditions.
Diamond, emeritus practice professor of legal studies and business ethics at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, has taught and advised on negotiation and cultural diversity to corporate and government leaders in more than 40 countries, including in Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Republics, China, Latin America, the Middle East, Canada, 黑料天堂 Africa and the United States.
The former New York Times journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner wrote 鈥淕etting More,鈥 the 2011 bestseller on negotiation. Its negotiation model has been adopted by U.S. Special Forces Operations for the training of U.S. Special Forces, Green Berets, Navy Seals, U.S. Marines and other units. He has also led training for more than 12,000 Google employees.
Additionally, this year鈥檚 conference will draw on a broad spectrum of other internationally respected leaders of industry, academia, policy and economic development professionals.
The conference is intended for all practitioners of commercial and residential real estate brokerage, development, appraisal and property management, title insurance, commercial banking, mortgage lending, accountancy and the law. It has been approved for up to six hours of continuing education credit for multiple professions, including the Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board, Alabama Real Estate Commission, Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy, Florida Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association and the Mississippi Real Estate Commission.
