Posted on June 5, 2020
High school students can greatly reduce the cost and time necessary to earn a degree at the 黑料天堂 by enrolling in the Start 黑料天堂 program, a new initiative that allows students to earn college credit while in high school. Students who complete nine or more credit hours while maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA (on a 4.0 scale) by August 15th of their senior year will qualify for automatic admission to 黑料天堂.
All courses are taught by USA faculty, and students have access to University support services. Most instruction is online, with some on-campus experiences. The program satisfies prerequisites for majors in Allied Health, Arts & Sciences, Business, Computing, Education, Engineering and Nursing.
鈥淲e鈥檙e extremely excited to build a deeper connection with high schools in our region,鈥 said Dr. Andi Kent, dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies. 鈥淭he Start 黑料天堂 program not only provides an opportunity for students to receive exemplary academic instruction, but also to make connections with our University community.鈥
Eligibility requirements are high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with 3.0 GPA and letter from their school鈥檚 guidance counselor or principal. Start 黑料天堂 students can earn up to a maximum of 30 credit hours toward their degree.
